Galina Matloviyevskaya Pavlovna (born July 13, 1930 , Dnipropetrovsk ) - Soviet and Russian historian of mathematics, orientalist , local historian, literary critic. Biography
In 1954 she graduated from Leningrad State University .
In 1954-59 she worked at the Leningrad branch of the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology of the USSR Academy of Sciences .
Since 1959 - Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics, Uzbek Academy of Sciences.
Since 1994 - Professor of the Orenburg Pedagogical University.
The main areas of research are the history of mathematics and mathematical astronomy in the countries of the medieval East, the history of the theory of numbers, the manuscripts of L. Euler , the history of culture of the Orenburg region.
He is the author of more than 250 scientific papers, including 20 monographs. She prepared three doctors and ten candidates of physical and mathematical sciences.
