About the album
Four of the five tracks from this EP have already been released on the group's studio albums. There is only one new track in the album - a cover of Jimmy Hendrix ’s song “Fire”. Although it was recorded for the album Freaky Styley , however, it only entered Mother's Milk as a tribute to Hillel Slovak , the guitarist of the group (he plays in this song), who died from an overdose of heroin .
The title and cover parody The Beatles Abbey Road . Like the Beatles, the Peppers cross the famous Abbey Road along a zebra, but unlike The Beatles, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are naked, not counting hats, shoes and socks on causal places. [one]
