The flag of the Ishimbay region is a symbol of the Ishimbay municipal region of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation .

Flag Description
A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, consisting of two horizontal stripes: yellow (top) and green; the yellow stripe is concave, the green stripe turning into yellow forms the likeness of a two-headed gentle mountain peak; the arch is edged in white. The width of the green strip is 3/5 of the width of the panel at the edges and 4/5 in the middle of the panel. In the center of the green strip is a white falcon flying to a pole.
Justification of Symbols
The concave flag head with a white stripe is a symbolic depiction of Mount Tratau . The light contour of the mountain means not only the limestone rock of which it consists and what is unique about it, but also faith, purity of thoughts, the nobility of peoples living in peace and harmony.
Against the background of a green feather grass field, a yellow-white gyrfalcon (shonkar) soars - a symbol of the Bashkir clan of Yurmata . The bird is a symbol of freedom, and its wings spread in free flight speak of the prosperity of the region, that its people are hardworking and free. Green color represents the eternal renewal of life, wealth and beauty of the native land.

The flag of Ishimbay region was approved by the decision of the Council of the municipal region of Ishimbay district of the Republic of Bashkortostan dated July 14, 2006 No. 9/130.
It is entered in the State Register of Symbols in the Republic of Bashkortostan with assignment of registration number 047.
It is entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3218.
