Sucromlya is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Yershichsky district . It is located in the southern part of the region, 14 km southeast of the Yershichi and 1 km from the border with the Bryansk region . The population is 232 inhabitants ( 2007 ). The administrative center of the Sukromlyansk rural settlement. There is a school and several playgrounds in Sucromle, asphalt is laid, gas is laid.

History
The wooden church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous in the village of Sucromlya was built in 1863.
In 1941, a partisan detachment was organized in a forest 3 km south-west of Sucromli. In honor of the soldiers who died in 1943 during the liberation of the region, a mass grave with a sculpture-monument was created, 61 soldiers were buried.
Hero of the Soviet Union Colonel Grigory Ivanovich Boyarinov was born in Sucromle , who was a member of the KGB special group “Thunder” and died in 1979 during the storming of the Amin’s palace in Kabul.
On the left bank of Voronitsa there is a large mound group of 97 embankments, to the south - another group of 100 mounds. On the right bank of the river, 9 mounds were preserved.
