Biography
She was born in a family of musicians, and her two sisters became musicians: Lauma plays the piano, Linda plays the viola. She began to study music at 4 years old. She studied at a special music school in Riga. In 1995, she entered the preparatory department of the Rostock Conservatory, attended Ruggero Ricci 's master classes.

She has performed with major orchestras in Europe, Japan, Australia, and the USA. She played in ensembles with Gidon Kremer , Isabelle van Keulen , Salt Gabetta , David Geringas , Emmanuel Payu , Sharon Kam .

First Prize of the Queen Elizabeth International Competition in Brussels ( 2001 ). ECHO Classic award to a young performer ( 2006 ).
