The holy faces are the various categories into which it is customary in Orthodoxy to divide the saints during their canonization and veneration, depending on the labors of their holy earthly life.
Like the individual saints, these “thematic” groups of saints are written with special festive services with verses , parishes , troparions , kondakami , glorification , canons , prokimen , apostolic and evangelical conceptions , and those involved (see General Mineya ) .

When it is required to designate the plural of saints of one face, the doubling of the last consonant abbreviation is applied: Sts. - Saints, App. - apostles, etc.
