Fightstar is a rock band formed in the UK in 2003 . The sound of the group combines elements of post-hardcore, metal, alternative rock and some other genres. Despite the considerable amount of skepticism that accompanied the group at the beginning of their careers due to the participation of the band's frontman Charlie Simson in the Busted pop project, the first concerts and debut EP were warmly received by both listeners and critics.
