Biography
Julia's mother, pianist and music teacher Vera Krenkova, who belonged to the German minority in Slovakia , emigrated to Germany in 1972 . Father, mathematician Frank-Michael Fischer, in the same year moved to Germany from the GDR . Julia began to learn to play the violin at the age of four. At the age of 9 she entered the Music Academy of Munich (class of prof. Anna Chumachenko ). She became the laureate of the Menukhin Violin Competition in 1995 and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon in 1996. Since that time, her concert career began.
In the New Year's concert in 2008 in Frankfurt, she made her debut as a pianist, performing a concert by Edward Grieg .

Bach , Vivaldi , Mendelssohn , Brahms , Tchaikovsky , Glazunov , Prokofiev , Khachaturian , Paganini .
Creative Contacts
She performed with the largest orchestras in the world under the guidance of famous conductors. She played in the ensemble with Lars Vogt , T. Zimmerman and others.
