Story
Lila (Turanga Lila) - Captain of the Interplanetary Express Company, the most disciplined member of the crew. Deprived of parents from birth, she believes most of the episodes that she is an alien (she looks completely like a man, except for the fact that she has only one eye) and wants to know about her origin.
In this episode, it turns out that she is not an alien, but the daughter of mutants who live in communications under the city (New New York) and who have sent her to an orphanage in the hope that she will have a better life.
In this series, Bender disposes of the professor's waste, discharging it down the drain to the mutants, and opens a waste disposal company. The dead killer whale from the movie “ Free Willy 3 ” is also sent there. As soon as Bender says that he is upstairs, and the mutants below (that is, they will not do anything to him), they drag Bender, Leela and Fry to their sewers. Mutants want to plunge the captives into a radioactive lake so that they mutate , and Bender decided to just pummel, because he does not have DNA that can mutate. At the last moment they are rescued by two mutants in hoods. But the other mutants are still determined to kill them - and set off in pursuit. During the flight, Leela finds the museum itself, the exhibits of which are things that were flushed into the toilet. The crowd grabs the fugitives, but they are again rescued by two mutants in the hoods. They are sent in a balloon to the stairs, which leads upward. Fry and Bender quickly get out, but Leela decides to stay and find out who these two strangers were. She dives into a radioactive lake and does not mutate. Meanwhile, Fry at the shelter takes the note from the director, with which Leela was planted more than 20 years ago. The professor's machine “translates” incomprehensible symbols, from which we learn that Lila's parents were mutants.
Leela finds mutants in the house where her portraits were hung, finds one of them with a copy of her bracelet and tries to kill them for killing her alien parents. At this second, Fry falls from above and removes the hoods from Leela's parents.
