Biography
Born November 30, 1954 in Novosibirsk .
In parallel with his studies in high school, he was engaged in a studio at the Novosibirsk Youth Theater . In 1976 he graduated from VTU named after B.V. Shchukin (course of Yu. V. Katin-Yartsev ). At the end of the school, he was accepted into the MATS troupe.
From 1989 to 1996 he taught acting at the B. Shchukin Theater School. Since 1996 he has been teaching acting at GITIS.
From September 1999 to August 2003 he worked on Channel One (ORT) as the host of the Sami with a Mustache and Seven Troubles-One Response programs.
From September 2009 to April 2010, he was the chief director of the Serpukhov Music and Drama Theater .
On May 19, 2010, a private “Theater” opened in Moscow - the first show of the first performance of the theater “Toy Seller” by Victor Dobrosotsky’s book of the same name took place on the stage of the Vakhtangov Theater .
At the moment - the artistic director of the Theater, the director of the Theater of Satire .
Public position
On March 1, 2014, he signed an appeal by cultural figures of Russia in support of the policy of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin in Ukraine and the Crimea [2] .
