History
The name of the station was approved on June 24, 2008 by a resolution of the Government of Moscow on the basis of a proposal by the city interdepartmental commission on the name of territorial units, streets and metro stations [3] [4] .
The station was designed as a deep station . To ensure the construction of the station in 2012-2016, traffic was limited along Ogorodnoy proezd and Milashenkova Street [5] .
As of November 2011 : platforms for ground construction were fenced, geological exploration was carried out, foreshafts were being built with soil freezing, its depth at that time had already reached 20 meters. From the Maryina Roshcha station to Butyrskaya, both distillation tunnels were drilled using the blasting method.
From mid-December 2013, work began on the construction of an inclined path of the station leading to its southern end. In tilt driving, soil freezing was also used. April 30, 2014 Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin visited the facility itself, went down to the station, where he was informed about the completion of excavation in both station tunnels by the May holidays (the bulk of the tunneling work on the station was completed in April 2015 [6] ) , as well as the significant progress in the excavation of the central hall, which by this moment was completed by two-thirds [7] .
The planned commissioning period was postponed three times - from September 2014 to the first quarter of 2015, then to the fourth quarter of 2015, then to 2016 [8] .
By March 2016, the construction of distillation tunnels was completed at Butyrskaya metro station [9] . On the night of September 12, 2016, a test train passed through the station [10] . The station was opened on September 16, 2016 [1] as part of the Maryina Roshcha - Petrovsko-Razumovskaya section, after putting into operation 203 stations in the Moscow Metro. By the start of the station, lobby No. 2 was completely completed, so the first time the station worked with one northern inclined passage . The southern exit opened on December 30, 2016.
