Elsha is a glacial thermokarst lake in the north of the Smolensk region of Russia in the Demidov district. Belongs to the Mezha River basin . The shores are badly destroyed. Until the end of the 80s there was a dam on the lake, which provided the rafting of the forest, now destroyed. It is part of the Smolensk Lake District National Park. Natural monument .
