Content
Story
Sergeant is splashing out in the evening with his friends in a zucchini. He was drunk and late for roll call. For this, the sergeant is sent to the guardhouse. In the morning he learns that his mother has died. He is in despair at the request to let him go to the funeral on duty officer refuses. Perepiliv lattice chamber, the sergeant runs away. When he leaves the coffin from his parents' house, he is arrested, but they allow the sergeant to escort his mother to the cemetery. A report on his misdemeanor is passed on to the colonel. The Colonel, tearfully, breaks the report.
