Career
Club
Pupil of the Murom youth team "Lokomotiv". First coach - Yu. A. Lodygin.
He started playing for Torpedo (Vladimir) in 1976.
In 1979 he was invited to Torpedo Moscow. In 1981-1985 he played for the Torch Voronezh .
Since 1986 - in the composition of the club "Dynamo" Moscow . In the winter of 1989, Losev had the option to go and play in the German Blau-Weiss, but his transition did not agree with the Dynamo CA, who considered that 200 thousand marks was not enough for the Olympic champion [1] .
At the beginning of 1992, together with Valery Sarychev, he was on view at the Ilkhva Chonma club . During testing, physical endurance showed the best results in the team, after which he signed a preliminary agreement for 2 years to switch to a new team. However, in the end, the transition did not take place - the team failed to issue a visa to the player, and Losev refused to act on a temporary contract (3 months) [1] .
He ended his career in 1992 due to damage to the ligaments of the knee joint [2] .

He played 3 matches in the USSR team :

- September 9, 1987. Qualifying match for Euro 1988 . USSR - France 1: 1. 90 minutes
- September 23, 1987. Friendly match. USSR - Greece 3-0. 90 minutes
He played 12 matches for the 1987-1988 Olympic team of the USSR.
Coaching
Coached the team "Techinvest-M" pos. Moscow , "Torch" Voronezh , FC "Serpukhov" , FC "Khimki" .
Coach of the junior national team of Russia (2003-2005). Coach of the youth team of Russia (since 2005).
Since June 2012 - senior coach of FC "Ufa" [3] .
In 2017 in the hometown of the champion Murom (Vladimir region) the name of Viktor Losev was given to the stadium.
