According to family traditions, of Tatar origin, dating back to the beginning of the 17th century and bestowed by estates for the Moscow siege seat (1604) [1] .
Athanasius Prokofievich Radishchev was under Anna Ivanovna colonel Starodubsky (in Little Russia). His grandson is the outstanding Russian writer Alexander Nikolaevich Radishchev .
The Radishchev clan is included in the VI and II parts of the genealogy books of the Kaluga [2] , Saratov, Tambov and Kharkov provinces.

Emblem Description
The shield, which has a blue field, depicts a silver arrow flying upward towards a golden octagonal star, and below it there is a silver moon with its horns facing upwards (amend. Polish coat of arms of Sas ).
The shield is crowned with an ordinary noble helmet with a noble crown on it. The mark on the shield is blue, lined with gold. The coat of arms is included in the General Tombstone of the noble families of the Russian Empire, part 5, 1st division, p. 61.

- Radishchevs: Kupai Yelisarievich and Akim Ivanovich - Maloyaroslavl city nobles (1627-1629).
- Radishchev Vasily Konstantinovich - solicitor (1683), steward (1690-1692).
