Primorsky region is an administrative-territorial unit in the east of the RSFSR from 1932 to 1939 .

Primorsky region was formed on October 20, 1932 as part of the Far Eastern Territory (the administrative center is Vladivostok ). After the abolition of the Far Eastern Territory in 1938, the Primorsky Region became part of the Primorsky Territory (stretched by a long narrow strip along the coast of the Sea of ββJapan ), and on June 5, 1939 it was abolished.
Initially, the region included: Posyetsky, Shmakovsky, Shkotovsky, Suchansky, Olginsky, Terneysky, Sovetsky, Pokrovsky, Ivanovsky, Mikhailovsky, Grodekovsky, Khankaysky, Chernihiv, Spassky, Yakovlevsky, Imansky and Bikinsky districts; cities of regional subordination Vladivostok, Nikolsk-Ussuriysk and Suchan , as well as the village of regional subordination Artyom [1] .
