Vladimir Ivanovich Polikarpov (January 24, 1943, Moscow , USSR - May 23, 1994, Moscow, Russia ) - Soviet football player , midfielder . He played for CSKA (1962-1974). In the championships of the USSR, he played 342 matches for the club (the second result in the club’s history after V. Fedotov ), scored 76 goals (the 6th indicator in the club’s history).

Biography
I came to the sports school CSKA at the age of 14. Until 16, he played basketball for the youth teams of the army. In 1960 he came to the football club CSKA and immediately hit the double. A year later, Konstantin Ivanovich Beskov transferred him to the main team. He made his debut for the main team on May 2, 1962, in a match against Spartak Yerevan . Already in the third minute of the meeting, the first touch scored a goal, which became a victory for the army team [1] .
In 1968, with ten goals, he became the team's top scorer. For many years he was the team's main penalty shooter. Differs in huge working capacity and good tactical thinking. Excellent interaction with V. Fedotov.
He played his last match for CSKA on May 2, 1974 against Dynamo Moscow.
In 1975, together with Plahetko, he left for the GSVG , where he got the opportunity to play for the team of the 2nd league of the German Democratic Republic Motor (Hennigsdorf) .
He died as a result of an accident, having suffered from the actions of riot police as a result of a raid in the pub [2] .
