Biography
Born on May 31, 1854 in a peasant family in the village of Zabolotye, Pereyaslavsky Uyezd, Vladimir Province [1] .
He studied at St. Petersburg and Warsaw universities. Author of study guides. V. described the history of the Alexander gymnasium to its 25th anniversary, published in 1882 the Smolensk diocesan sheets, the Vyazemsky Scribe books of Prince I.F. Volkonsky for 1627, collected archaeological and ethnographic materials, was one of the founders of the Smolensk Archive and Historical Museum in Vyazma. The main work of his 17-year work in Vyazma was “The historical outline of the city of Vyazma from ancient times until the 17th century” (inclusive) with an appendix of the city plan of 1779, the genealogy of the Vyazemsky princes, descriptions of the ancient fortress, etc. In 1896, V. left from Vyazma, served for some time in Tver, then in Torzhok, and from 1902 worked until the end of his days in the public education system of Kostroma.
Educated at St. Petersburg and Warsaw universities . He studied ancient Greek, Latin, Polish, German, Church Slavonic, museum and archival affairs.
After graduating from Warsaw University in 1878, he worked as a history teacher at the Alexander Gymnasium and at the upper classes of the female gymnasium in Vyazma.
In 1896-1900, he was appointed inspector of public schools in the Tver province.
In 1900-1902, the director of the teacher seminary in Torzhok .
Since 1902 - Director of Kostroma Public Schools.
Since 1917 - Inspector of the Kostroma Regional Department of Education.
He died on November 9, 1925. [2]
