Utada, Hikaru

Hikaru Utada ( Hikaru Utada , 宇多田 ヒ カ ル , born January 19, 1983 ) is a popular Japanese singer , producer , arranger . Recorded in Japan and the USA . Also known as Hikki ( Hikki , ヒ ッ キ ー). Known in the world for the title track for the Kingdom Hearts video game series [1] . She has released six studio albums in English and Japanese, one collection, 25 solo singles in English and Japanese, as well as several VHS / DVD releases, over 41 million copies have been sold worldwide (over 34 million of them in Japan).

Hikaru Utada has won the Nihon Golden Disk “Song of the Year” prize for her thirteen singles since 2000 and won the Golden Disc prize “Pop / Rock Album of the Year” for her four Japanese studio albums [2] .

In 2003, she took 24th place in the Japanese poll "Top 100 Japanese pop artists" on HMV [3] .

In 2006, 10th place in the survey "Top 30 Best Japanese Artists of All Time" on HMV [4] , and in 2007 more than 10 million digital melodies and songs were sold, making her the first performer on this indicator in one year.
