Bogoroditskoye is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Vyazemsky district , the administrative center of the Maslovsky rural settlement . It is located in the eastern part of the region 18 km northwest of the district center, near the Vyazma - Khmelita highway, on the right bank of the Bebr River (the right tributary of Vyazma ). The population is 276 inhabitants ( 2007 ).

Content
History
In 1781 belonged to the landowner Anna Vasilyevna Panina. In 1804, 69 inhabitants lived in the village.
On October 11, 1941, an organized breakthrough of the surrounded units of the Red Army from the "Vyazemsky Cauldron" was carried out here. The park near the church of the village of Bogoroditsky during the day several times passed from hand to hand. The headquarters of the commander of the encircled group, Lieutenant General M.F. Lukin, was in the village of Shutovo (now a natural boundary ) for the last several days before the breakthrough.

- The Bogoroditskoye Field Memorial is dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of the Western and Reserve Fronts who fell in the Vyazemsky Cauldron. It was opened on June 22, 2005.
