21 grams

The film “21 grams” is a logical continuation of the drama “ Bitch Love ”, although the stories told in these films are different. In the picture “21 grams”, by the will of fate, as a result of a tragic combination of circumstances, the lives of people who were previously completely unfamiliar with each other are intertwined.

Heroes

• Christine Peck , a drug addict in the past, got rid of her addiction. She has a loving husband, Michael, and two daughters. Just when she returned to normal life, a tragedy occurs: her husband and girls were killed by a car.
• Jack Jordan , a former prisoner, finished with the past and firmly, as it seems to him, took the path of faith. He literally takes the Gospel, is convinced that Christ gave him a new car (God gave - God took), but at the same time he believes in God absolutely sincerely. Everything turns over when he unintentionally knocks down her husband and daughters Christine, thereby committing a grave sin.
• Paul Rivers , a mathematician, is seriously ill. Only a heart transplant can save him. By coincidence, the donor's heart, which he receives - is the heart of Michael, Christine's deceased husband.

Storylines of the picture

Jack can not understand how to live on and for what - at that very moment when he began to believe in God, God punished him so cruelly: murder (even if unintentional) is a grave sin, and among those killed by him are two innocent children.

Paul does not know how to live with the heart of the deceased husband Christine, to whom Paul begins to have strong feelings. After all, his life is ironically extended due to the misfortune of Christine.

Christine does not know how to live without a family. Why exactly at the moment when she learned what family happiness is, does fate take everything away from her?

Each of the characters is shown in a state of confusion (the director takes this state to the screen with the help of a chaotic, at first glance, mixing of time and events).
