James Wyatt ( born James Wyatt ; August 3, 1746 - September 4, 1813 ) is a British architect , one of the most prominent representatives of this architectural dynasty.

Broadway Tower ( 1797 )
He studied in Italy with Antonio Vicentini . Upon returning to England in 1768 , with the patronage of one of the older brothers, he received an order for the design and decoration of the Pantheon assembly house (later the theater), built by 1772 and received, in particular, the opinion of Horace Walpole as “the most beautiful building in England” - thanks mainly to the design and construction of interiors.
He worked both in the Gothic style ( Beaver Castle , Broadway Tower ), and in the spirit of classicism. In 1805 - 1806 President of the Royal Academy of Arts .
