On April 3 (16), 1904, Alexander Ivanovich Makarevsky was born in the village - a Soviet scientist in the field of strength and aeroelasticity of aircraft, Hero of Socialist Labor (1957), academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1968), Lenin (1957) and Stalin (1943) prize laureate.
