Fast and Furious 4

The first scene of the film takes place in the Dominicana - the abduction of the fuel tanker tanks at full speed, which nearly cost Dominica and Letty life. All the same trick failed. But celebrating good luck, as it turned out, was out of place: this time the gang lit up well and the local police were about to seize them. Dominic decides not to risk this time, so he leaves Letty and leaves. After some time, Mia calls him in Panama and reports that Letty was killed. Throwing everything, Dominic flies to Los Angeles to spend her last journey, but even this can not do, because he is wanted by the special services . Toretto vows revenge on the death of his beloved. After traveling with Mia to the scene of the accident, Dominic discovers that the killer used nitromethane . Finding a dealer, he finds out that David Park ordered a car with such fuel.

Brian O'Connor, now Federal , knows that Dominic is back, but not in a hurry to look for him. His headache and the pain of the whole service - the capture of the largest Mexican drug lord Arturo Braga. In the process of a small investigation, O'Connor, like Toretto, goes to the Park, and also meets Mia Toretto. Through Park, Brian and Dominic manage to enter their names in the list of participants in the race, arranged by Braga specifically for the recruitment of their couriers. At the site of the race, Dominic and Bryan meet two other assistants to Arturo Braga: Giselle and Campos, his deputy. At the end of the race Dominic wins, but Brian considers his victory dishonest and, using the powers of the federal service, throws drugs to one of the couriers previously selected. So Brian and Dominic manage to get into the number of couriers Braga. In the club Dominic finds the killer car: green Ford Torino . Giselle tells Torreto that this is Campos' assistant machine, the Phoenix. All couriers are given the task of transporting some cargo across the border from Mexico . In the process of transportation, Dominic Torreto leaves the column on purpose to find confirmation that Phoenix is ​​riding nitromethane and that he killed Letty.

When the cargo was transported, all drivers were taken out of the cars to kill. But Dominic, in anticipation of the trouble, opened the nitrogen bottle and pressed the cigarette lighter. This saved his life: In the confusion, Dom and Brian managed to steal one of the cars from Braga and Phoenix, but in this car, as it turned out, there was a $ 60 million worth of goods. Brian decides to help the FBI catch Braga, but instead they must withdraw all charges from Dominic. Hiding near the border, Brian calls Mia to help her brother with a wound. At this time, it turns out another detail about Letty - she began to cooperate with the FBI in the hope of removing the charges against Dominic so that he could return home. It also turns out that it was Brian who sent her to the Braga cartel. An attempt to transfer the goods personally into the hands of Braga fell through: instead of the real Braga came a fake. The special forces detachment, awaiting the order of O'Conner, early dashed off and a firefight began. Only at that moment it became clear that Braga and Campos are one person. FBI dismisses O'Connor from the investigation.

Brian and Dominic return to Mexico and kidnap Braga from the church. For the heroes begins the chase. The only chance for heroes to survive is to hide in tunnels through which only an experienced rider can drive. On the other side of the tunnel were only Brian and Phoenix. Cutting off O'Conner, Phoenix got out of the car and was about to kill him, but Dominic suddenly appeared from the tunnel. He accelerated and sealed Phoenix to Brian’s wrecked car. Brian himself was still alive.

Brian again, as in the first part , offers Dominic to flee, but he refused: he was tired of hiding. Toretto appeared before the court, and, despite Brian's petition and Dominic's help in arresting Braga, the court decided to send him to a Lompac high-security prison for a period of 25 years without the right to parole . Being already in the bus transporting prisoners to prison, Dominic hears the sounds of racing engines coming from behind. It was Brian, Mia Toretto and Mexican friends - Tego and Rico, who decided to free Dominic.

Filming began on February 28, 2008. On March 6, it became known that Michelle Rodriguez , who had already participated in the first part of the series ^[3], will take part in the film. Filming was completed on December 11, 2008.

A short prequel to the film “Bandits” ( eng. Los Bandoleros ) was filmed by Vin Diesel in the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2008. It tells about how the main characters of the fourth "Fast and the Furious" met. The short film was included in the release of the film on licensed DVD .
