History

Named after the village of Bolshevo. The village that grew up around the church of Cosmas and Damian has been known since the 16th century. Until the 17th century the village belonged to the boyar Sheremetov, and later to the family of the princes Odoevsky . According to some sources, the name of the village comes from the surname Bolshev, according to other sources - from the "big".

In Soviet times, the village became a suburban-type settlement; in 1963, the settlement entered the line of the city of Kaliningrad (Korolev).

Moninsky Platforms

The railway in the direction of Monino was built in 1894 . The platforms on the Moninsky direction are connected by an underpass and a bridge across the tracks. Platform No. 1 to Moscow is lateral, located from the side of the Bolshevo microdistrict. Platform No. 2 from Moscow ( at Monino ) is an island one, located parallel to Sq. No. 1. Platform No. 3 for Sputnik electric trains - island, starts in front of Sq. No. 1 under the overpass, the paths on both sides of the platform are dead ends. All three platforms in the Moninsky direction are equipped with turnstiles .

At the station there are ticket offices for pre-sale tickets to all directions of Russian Railways. Ticket offices work seven days a week.

The final stop is 21 pairs of high-speed Sputnik express electric trains on working days and for 11 pairs on weekends, as well as for 5 pairs per day of conventional Moscow-Yaroslavskaya -Bolshevo electric trains.

At the station there is a platform for unloading goods from freight cars.

Reconstruction

From March to September 2008, passenger stations were reconstructed at the station. Previously, a unique wooden pavilion was destroyed, which had more than a century of history. Free access to the platforms was blocked, since barriers were installed on all sides. It is worth noting that as a result of the reconstruction of the station, the time required to get onto the platforms increased by an average of 5-10 minutes. Also during the reconstruction, the following was done:

1. Platforms are thoroughly repaired, canopies are installed on both platforms. Platform No. 2 from Moscow has been doubled due to 3 routes, but at the same time the platform has remained island.

2. A thoroughly repaired underground passage. It is worth noting that during the repair ramps were not installed on the steps leading to platform No. 2, although they are present on the steps of the first platform, since they were installed before the reconstruction.

3. The ground crossing through the paths from the side of Valentinovka station, through which it was possible to cross from one side of the railway to the other, was eliminated. This transition has traditionally been used by residents of Cosmonauts Avenue and the streets adjacent to it. It was also possible to get to the first and second platforms along this elevated path.

4. Turnstile and checkout pavilions were built. One large pavilion on the 1st platform, one pavilion on the 3rd platform. An exit ticket office and three turnstile pavilions were built on platform 2, two of which are for transition from the bridge to the platform and one for the transition from the underpass to the platform.

5. An additional island platform No. 3 for the Sputnik express trains was built, a canopy was installed on it.

6. An elevated pedestrian bridge was built for the transition from the second platform to the first, as well as for the transit passage through the entire station from both parts of the city.

7. The Bolshevo station is decorated in an unusual color scheme for the Yaroslavl direction. While all stations where turnstiles are installed are decorated in gray-blue, Bolshevo is decorated in turquoise-white-blue. New signs appeared at the station with a schedule indicating the name of the station, access to the platforms, as well as a warning system for arriving trains.

Sputnik

On September 5, 2008, the first launch of the Sputnik high-speed electric train to the Bolshevo station took place. "Satellites" will make a stop only at two stations Mytishchi and Losinoostrovskaya . Intervals of movement on weekdays 30 minutes, on weekends 1 hour. The cost of a one-time ticket from Bolshevo station to Moscow-Yaroslavskaya station as of October 2010 is 99 rubles, a monthly subscription is 3600 rubles.

Fryazino Platform

The island platform in the Fryazino direction was built in 1951 . The platform is located north of the rest and the transition from the platforms of the Moninsky direction is carried out by a pedestrian road to ul. Station. Crossing the railroad tracks on this platform is carried out through a ground pedestrian crossing equipped with traffic lights. Turnstiles were not installed on this platform.

A single-track branch to Fryazino begins between the Podlipki-Dachny station and the Bolshevo station. The Bolshevo platform is a double-track detour in this direction within the station.
