Putin's first government

The article provides information on the composition of the Government of the Russian Federation under the chairmanship of V. V. Putin , which was in force from August 16, 1999 to May 7, 2000 [1] .

The Government structure was approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 08.17.1999 No. 1062 ā€œOn the structure of federal executive bodiesā€ .

During the term of office of this composition of the Government of the Russian Federation, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of November 12, 1999 No. 1487 , the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Communications and Informatization appeared in its structure by transforming it from the State Committee on Telecommunications of the Russian Federation .
