History
The metallurgical plant was built in 1898 with a process based on blast furnace production . Later, at the beginning of the 20th century, after blast furnaces, open-hearth furnaces were built, which provided ingots to rolling mills of the first Minyarsky and subsequently Zlatoust plants. Own rolling production appeared in Asha only in the second half of the 20th century.
In 1952, 1974 and 1986, three sheet-rolling workshops were commissioned. In 1986, blast furnace production was decommissioned, one of the four open-hearth furnaces was closed, and in the same year, a stainless cookware workshop was launched, on the basis of which the production of pots of various capacities, roasting pans and frying pans with a heat-distributing bottom made of aluminum was mastered, and since 1993 - production stainless steel thermoses .
In 1992, the company was incorporated.
In 2005, the ladle-furnace unit was put into operation. In 2007, a continuous casting machine was put into operation. In 2010, an arc steel furnace was put into operation.
