The defeat of Sararoghi is an episode of the Waziristan war , during which the Taliban succeeded in destroying the Pakistani fort Sararogh ( English Sararogha Fort ), located on the border with Afghanistan , on January 15 - January 16, 2008 . The number of Taliban is estimated from 200 to 1000 people. The attackers were led by Baitullah Mehsud .
