The cover design was created by Cabin Fever Media.
In the limited version of the album there is a bonus DVD with live recordings of songs and filming of the band behind the scenes, as well as video clips for the songs “The New Build” and “Focus Shift”. In addition, the limited edition of the disc includes an extended booklet and an alternate cover.
The songs “Misery's Crown” and “The Mundane and the Magic” were the first since the time of the Haven album, in which the vocalist of the group Mikael Stanne sang with clean vocals instead of the traditional group growling . The song “The Mundane and the Magic” sounds the vocal of the guest vocalist, performed by Nell Sigland from the group Theater of Tragedy .
