At the Games in Paris, Trinit participated in competitions in pistol shooting. In the individual competition, he took 10th place, gaining 431 points. In the team competition, his team took second place, winning silver medals.

The following year, he won the silver medal at the 1901 World Cup in Lucerne in team pistol shooting.
