Biography
Six-time champion of France in athletics and two-time champion of France in rugby (1896 - Olympic, 1901 - Stud France).
At the Games, Gauthier was a member of the French national rugby team , which, having beaten Germany and Great Britain , became the winner of the tournament and received gold medals. At the club level, he played for the teams Racing, Olympic (Marseille), Stud France and Stud Bordle.
