Andrei Vladislavovich Shatskov (born December 1, 1952 , Moscow ) is a Russian poet and journalist .

Biography
1971 - Valentin Dmitrievich Berestov draws attention to Shatskov’s work, who subsequently wrote a preface to his book: “... He became a builder, but did not stop writing poetry. In them there really is a lyrical sensation of Ancient Russia , and his poems about love are imbued with the deepest respect for a woman ... ”
1976 - graduated from the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute. He worked in the specialty in Glavmosoblstroy, the USSR Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Ministry of Transport of Russia and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) under the President of Russia . He participated as a chief engineer in the creation of a unique sanatorium complex “Bes Chagda” on Nikolina Gora in the Moscow Region . He worked in the newspaper Slovo.
1997 - together with a group of enthusiasts, participates in the revival of regular releases of the popular youth almanac "Sources", of which he is a member of the editorial board to date.
1999 - ends the cycle of poems “On the Kulikovo Field”, which allowed the state prize winner poet Vladimir Firsov to name the author “The Last Shard of the Silver Age” . For a cycle of spiritual verses, as well as for his contribution to the cause of Orthodoxy, A.V. Shatskov was granted the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II . Much of A.V. Shatskov’s work is connected with his “Little Motherland” - the protected Ruzsky region of the Moscow Region, where he volunteered for the local literary association named after F.I. Tyutchev .
2000 - becomes the permanent leader of the column “Notes of the Russian poet” in the newspaper “Slovo”. Admitted to the Russian and International Unions of Journalists. 2005 - Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation A.S. Sokolov. Chairman of the Editorial Board of the almanac “Poetry Day. 2006. " Editor- in -chief of the annual almanac “Poetry Day - XXI Century. 2007, 2009, 2010-2016. A.V. Shatskov is a laureate of literary prizes: Our Contemporary magazine for 1999 and 2005, Young Guard magazine for 2004, Youth magazine for 2005 and 2007, Russian bell magazine for 2008, and magazine Neva "for 2010. 2016 - Laureate of the All-Russian Literary Prize named after N.S. Leskova "The Enchanted Wanderer."
2019 - Laureate of the All-Russian Literary Prize “Russian Way” named after F. I. Tyutchev [3] .
Member of the Union of Writers of Russia and the International Federation of Journalists. Full member of the Academy of Russian Literature . He lives in Moscow and in Ruza .
