It began to appear in July 1941 as an propaganda poster , an organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) B , entitled “Crush the fascist reptile” ( Belarusian. “Crush the fascist gadzina” ) (from March 1942 - a newspaper poster).
Since August 1945, it has been published in Minsk as the journal of satire and humor, "Leader". Until 1958, it was printed on 8, then on 12 pages, with color illustrations. From October 2009 to October 2011 he appeared as an almanac , from January 2012 - again as a magazine of satire and humor. He prints feuilletons , pamphlets , fables , parables , poems , short stories , sideshows , plays , sketches, humoresques , miniatures, parodies , epigrams , puns , aphorisms , jokes , translations of satirical and humorous works, as well as cartoons , cartoons , drawings .
The magazine published a satirical poster "On the thorns" (since 1963, 2 times a year). The Biblateka Wozyka is published, a literary supplement to the Wozyk magazine; since 1957 she has been publishing at the publishing house of the Central Committee of the CPB for 6 books each (then - at the RIU Literature and Art).
