Nikolaev trolley - one of the types of public transport in Nikolaev ( Ukraine ). The trolleybus lines are 59 kilometers long, there are 33 cars on the balance of the enterprise, of which 25 trolleybuses leave daily for routes.

History
The trolleybus movement in Nikolaev was opened on October 29, 1967. The first line connected the old train station and the ring near the old city cemetery . The first trolleybuses were delivered to Nikolaev from the Kiev electric transport plant and were called "Kiev-4".
At the time of the opening of trolleybus lines in the city there were six trolleybuses. By the end of 1967, there were ten of them. The second line connected the old railway station with the Central Market.
At first, the trolleybus fleet and the repair base were absent. The first trolleybuses were being repaired on Pushkinskaya street ; washing was carried out at a freight station. Complex failures were eliminated in the tram depot.
In the 1980s, 95 trolleybuses operated on the lines of Nikolaev. The movement was carried out from 05:00 to 01:00.
From 1990 to 2001 in Nikolaev trolleybus trains [1] [2] from two ZiU-682 cars [3] operating according to the system of Vladimir Veklich [4] [5] were successfully operated.
As of 2014, 27 trolleybuses operated on the line ( LAZ E183D1 (5 pcs.), MAZ-ETON T103 (6 pcs.), ZiU-682 (8 pcs.), LAZ-52522 (3 pcs.), YuMZ T2 ( 5 pieces.)).
In October 2012, 2 new MAZ-ETON 103 trolleybuses arrived in Nikolaev. In November, another 5 trolleybuses were expected to be delivered. Also in 2012, 3 trolleybuses were restored from ruins (No. 3144, 3145, 3159). The LAZ E183D1 No. 3005 trolleybus was understaffed.
In January 2014, after major repairs, the trolleybus No. 3150 (ZiU-682) entered the line.
In October 2014, after overhaul, trolleybus No. 3140 again entered the line.
In November 2014, 2 new MAZ trolleybuses entered the line, which were assigned tail numbers 3010 and 3011. Thus, today in Nikolaev on city route number 2 there are already 6 cars of this manufacturer (No. 3006-3011).
On November 18, 2014, route No. 4, previously liquidated in 2001, resumed operations in the city.
In 2015, two tenders were held for the purchase of used trolleybuses. The first tender provides for the purchase of 14 trolleybuses, and the second - 25. Both in the first and second tenders, the Duotrans company won, which should deliver 40 Skoda 14Tr trolleybuses to Nikolaev by the end of 2015.
The plans of the city mayor’s office include the resumption of the once-canceled route No. 9, Severny microdistrict - the Nikolaev-Passenger railway station and the launch of a trolley bus to the Korabelny district of the city. Also, Nikolaev city head Yury Granaturov talked about plans to build a new trolleybus line along the bypass road in the Alluvium microdistrict in the spring of 2016.
In August 2015, a trolleybus of the ZiU-682 brand No. 3135 entered the line after a major overhaul.
On August 7, 2015, used Skoda 14Tr trolleybuses from the Czech Republic (Brno, Pilsen) began to be delivered to Nikolaev, they received tail numbers 3012-3044.
