Concert at GlavApu
The recording was made by A. Strakhov and A. Larikov at a concert in the conference hall of the Main Architectural and Planning Directorate of Moscow on June 4, 1982 using tape recorders “AKAI” and “Rostov-101 C” and magnetic tapes “Svema” and “Tasma A- 4409-6B ”at 19th speed. The concert consisted of two sections, the second section began with improvisation, turning into the song "We Will Never Get Older."
I believe that this is the best concert recording of "Aquarium" in general ... I'm going to even clean it up a little on the equalizer and release it. The song "We Will Never Get Older", which we played a couple of times, is the best we have ever done at concerts ... " (BG, March 6, 1983) [2]
The interior of the stage for the rock concert was peculiar. There were posters in the background: “The decisions of the XXVI Congress of the CPSU — come to life!” And “Long live the glorious Communist Party of the Soviet Union created by Lenin!” The concert unexpectedly ended when the woman in charge of the conference room was offended by the rehash of the song “ Moscow Nights ”In the punk style, which was both expensive for her and for her entire generation - and turned off the electricity in the hall. Therefore, in the original recording on the song "Tutti Frutti" the music breaks off. However, there is a version that the electricity was turned off for reasons of the safety of the premises, which could suffer from "rock and roll dances" (Ilya Smirnov, "The Beautiful Amateur") . [2]
In 2012, the concert was reissued on a double CD. Into the phonogram were added the introductory words recently found in the recording and found in front of each of the two sections, representing the participants of the concert - the band members were presented in front of the first section, and Valentina Ponomareva was announced to participate in the second section. In addition, a DVD was added to the release with video materials of the time - the film "Ivanov", clips of "Aquarium" for the TV program "Funny Guys", a clip of 1985. Ashes and some other materials.
