Bokstal

Bokstal ( FR. Bockstael , Dutch. Bockstael ) - metro and railway station in Brussels ( Laken commune). The railway station belongs to line 50 (Brussels - Alst - Gent ), the metro station - to line 6 . The metro station opened on October 6, 1982 . Until May 10, 1985 , it remained finite.

The railway station was opened on May 29, 1985 to replace the Laken station, for the possibility of creating a transfer hub with a metro station. Only local trains (L trains) stop at the train station.

An important public transport hub is located in the Bokstal station area, two tram lines, four STIB / MIVB bus lines and fifteen De Lijn bus lines stop here.
