Biography

Born and lived in the Bronx . He was brought up without a father. Graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School .

As a member of the CityKids Repertory Company, he traveled extensively throughout the country, speaking at various festivals and charity events. In 2005, a father, having seen his son participate in American Idol , decided to reunite with him [1] . Once in the final round of this show, Mario unexpectedly left for "family reasons." Later he admitted that he dreamed he wanted to completely control his work from the age of 13, but it seemed to him that American Idol would not allow him to do this, in addition, he did not want to be one of the 12 finalists and felt that, having gained fame as a semi-finalist of the show , he will be able to realize himself on his own.

In August 2005, Vazquez signed with Arista Records [2] .
