Biography
He was born on March 18 in 1962 in Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow.
He received two higher educations: a radio engineer at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) and a manager (specializing in State and Municipal Management). Since 1992 he has been working in the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia . He was a lifeguard, head of the search and rescue service. In 1996 he was appointed deputy chief of the Centrospas detachment.
He received special training in Sweden and at the school of survival in the Amazon. He took part in the international exercises of rescuers.
More than a hundred times he participated in emergency response in different parts of the world.
He participated in humanitarian operations in Tkvarcheli in 1993 during the Georgian-Abkhaz war , during the Bosnian war , as well as in Rwanda , Tanzania , Uganda , Burundi in connection with the genocide in Rwanda .
In 1995, as part of the Centrospas rescue team, parachuted to the North Pole .
World class lifeguard. Honored Rescuer of the Russian Federation.
Married, father of five children.

- By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1127 dated June 17, 2000 for courage and heroism shown in saving lives, Legoshin Vladimir Danatovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the Golden Star medal (No. 658).
