Tragheim gate

The tragheim gate stood in Mill Lane, which ran along Valgasse and led to Palvehof and Maraunenhof .

This gate was small, and did not have much significance. They were built from basalt pillars.

In 1785, the gate was mentioned in conjunction with the “Tragheimsche Gemeindehaus”, where also, in front of the gate, there was a dairy store.

In 1820, various production facilities were located in the immediate vicinity of the gate, one of which was a gantry mill and the other was a feed mill. The city of Königsberg was badly damaged during the development and expansion of its very limited urban space, due to the fact that in 1900 the situation with the expansion of the urban space had to be mitigated by the restructuring of the space near the gate. For this reason, the Tragheim Gate was demolished in 1910.
