Biography
In 1914 he began working as a messenger at a shipyard in Nikolaev ; since 1916 autogenous welder.
In 1917 - 1920 - batratil on the farm Novoboguslavka of the Nikolaev province.
In 1920 - 1921, he was an assistant, later - an inspector of the labor protection department in the Nikolaevsk provincial department of trade unions.
In 1921 - 1922, he was a soldier.
In 1922 he returned to the shipyard in the position of timekeeper.
In 1924 - 1928 he was a student of the Nikolaev Shipbuilding Technical School .
In 1927, a son was born Yuri .
In 1924 - 1935 - master, head of a floating holiday home, chief mechanic, head of the ship assembly shop, head of the design department, the main builder of facilities at the Marty plant .
In 1935 - 1937 - the chief engineer of the shipbuilding plant number 196 "Sudomeh" in the Leningrad region .
In 1937, the chief engineer of trust number 14 of the Second Main Directorate of the People's Commissariat of the Defense Industry of the USSR in Leningrad .
In 1937–1939 - chief engineer, director of the Baltic plant in Leningrad.
From January 1939 - 1st Deputy People's Commissar, from May 17, 1940 - People's Commissar of the USSR shipbuilding industry.
During the Great Patriotic War at the same time (September 1941 - February 1942 ) - 1st Deputy Commissar of the USSR Tank Industry.
March 19, 1946 dismissed and appointed deputy minister of the USSR shipbuilding industry.
From December 29, 1947 to January 10, 1950 - Minister of Transport Engineering of the USSR.
From January 1950 to October 1952 - 1st Deputy Minister of the USSR shipbuilding industry.
From October 31, 1952 to March 5, 1953 - Minister of the USSR shipbuilding industry.
In March - June 1953 - 1st Deputy Minister of Transport and Heavy Machinery of the USSR.
From June 29, 1953 to April 19, 1954 - Minister of Transport and Heavy Machinery of the USSR.
Since April 19, 1954 Minister of the USSR shipbuilding industry.
In 1954 he was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR .
The urn with ashes is buried in the Kremlin wall on Red Square.
