Located 20 km from the city of Aktau .

Mangistau railway station on the Beineu - Zhanaozen line , bordering the village from the south. Railroad and oil industry service enterprises.

In 2005, the urban-type village of Mangistau received the status of a village .

Population

In 1999, the village population was 12,433 people (6072 men and 6361 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 14,818 people lived in the village (7440 men and 7378 women) [3] .

As of October 1, 2018, the village population was 30946 people (15645 men and 15301 women) [1] .
