Biography

From the nobles of the Tauride province , Yenikale .

Received home education. He began his service on August 10, 1818 with the rank of lieutenant in the Penza Infantry Regiment. The warrant officer-ensign - 12.09.1821, the ensign - 17.07.1823, the second lieutenant - 4.06.1825; was an officer of the 2nd Musketeer Company, commanded by A. I. Tyutchev .

Member of the Society of United Slavs (1825).

Arrested on February 10, 1826. Convicted of the second category. He served penal servitude in the Chita prison (1827-1830) and at the Petrovsky plant . In 1835-1856 - on a settlement in the village. Shushenskoye Yenisei province .

In 1846, he married a Cossack Evdokia Nikolaevna Makarova (17.2.1820 - 12/11/1901). Their kids:

  • Nicholas (born 1847); the colonel, his daughter Anna [1] , is married to the infantry general Yu. N. Danilov .
  • Nadezhda (genus 25.8.1849) - in 1859 was accepted into the official account at the Kerch Institute for Girls; was married to the youngest son of Major General I.P. Manganari , Victor [2] ;
  • Peter (born 4.10.1852) is a general from infantry.
The grave of Frolov at the Vagankovsky cemetery.

The author of Zapiski (published in Russian Antiquity in 1882, vol. XXXIV) is a recollection of the life of the Decembrists in the Chita prison and Petrovsky factory with critical remarks on articles by D. I. Zavalishin .

He was buried in Moscow, at the Vagankovsky cemetery . On his grave is a monument of pink-red granite in the form of a celestial sphere; in 1950, a white marble plank was strengthened on the verge of a pedestal. The grandson, director Gavriil Nikolaevich Frolov (1881-1947) [3] and the granddaughter, Olga Nikolaevna Karpova (1878-1960) were buried here, and nearby, in the same fence with the Frolovs, is the old burial of another Decembrist P. S. Bobrishchev-Pushkin , and in a separate iron fence - the symbolic grave of I. N. Althoughyintsev [4] .
