Musharaff Khan ( Eng. Musharaff Khan ; 1895-1967) - Indian singer and performer on the sitar , younger brother Hazrat Inayat Khan and his student. After arriving in the West in 1911 , along with Indian, he studied European classical music. During his travels, from 1913 to 1914 he lived in Moscow , where he took part in concerts of Indian music, held at the Polytechnic Museum and the Moscow Conservatory, as part of the Royal Musician of Hindustan groups. His memoirs are published in which he recalls with great warmth his life in Moscow.

Musharaff Khan was married twice, the first to Savitri van Rossum du Shuttel, who passed away in India in 1946 ; the second time on the Shahzad-de Coning (d. September 30, 1995 ) with whom he lived in The Hague, until his death in 1967 .
After the death of Pir-o-Murshid Ali Khan in 1958 , Musharaff Khan became Pir-o-murshid and took over the leadership of the International Sufi Movement. He remained in the students' memory simple, modest, full of sympathy for all those close to him, until the end of his days he was not only a music teacher, but also a philosophy.
Several archived audio and video recordings have been preserved, where he shows various styles of Indian music.
