The city is located 45 kilometers north of Yaounde . It is connected by road with Yaounde.
Population
Among the inhabitants of the city, a dialect of the Ewondo language called Eton is popular .

Religion

A military academy operates in Obale.
Attractions
- Luna Park is the main attraction of the city. Luna Park has a swimming pool, restaurant and a large number of monkeys. Obaly Luna Park is one of the favorite vacation spots of Yaounde residents who come in droves to visit it on weekends. [five]
- Nachtigal Waterfall The waterfall is named after the German traveler in Africa, Gustav Nachtigall ( 1834 - 1885 ), who established in 1884 a German protectorate over Cameroon. [6] The waterfall is located about 15 kilometers from the city on the Sanaga River , the height of the waterfall is 20 meters. [five]

- Large open-air market.
Sport
The city has a local football club called Tarzan .
