Psekhako (more correctly Psekhokho [1] ) is a mountain range in the vicinity of the village of Krasnaya Polyana , in the Adler district of Sochi . From the north-west and west it is limited by the Laura river basin, from the south-west by the Achipse river , which is a tributary of the Laura, and from the south by the Mzymta river basin, into which the Laura flows.

Rising gradually from the south-west to the north-east, the ridge in its upper part adjoins the Bzerpi ridge, to the north of which is the Pseashkho massif. In the northern part of the ridge, the territory of the Caucasian Natural Biosphere Reserve begins.
Absolute elevations of the ridge reach heights of 1400-1600 m. The ridge is covered with deciduous and coniferous species of the Caucasian forests. In the 1960s , logging was carried out on the ridge [1] .
At the foot of the Psekhako ridge, there is the PJSC Gazprom Mountain-Tourism Center and most of the ridge along with the territory on which it is leased to PJSC Gazprom for the creation and development of the ski complex and the construction of the 2014 Winter Olympics . The Laura ski and biathlon complex was built on the upper part of the Psekhako ridge, where biathlon and ski races were held as part of the 2014 Winter Olympics , as well as biathlon and ski races as part of the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games.

Currently, there are three ski lifts and slopes for skiing and snowboarding on the northwestern slopes of the Psekhako ridge.
