Kobda

Kobda ( Kazakh. Даobda , until 1997 - Novoalekseevka [2] [3] ) - a village in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan . Center of Khobdinsky district . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Kobdinsky rural district. The KATO code is 154230100 [4] .

Content

History

Today's settlement arose, according to documents, in 1900-1902. They came to this area from Russia and Ukraine .

In 1911, it was already a large settlement, in which there was a school attached to the church and was called a parish church.

Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 5,288 people (2697 men and 2591 women) [5] . According to the 2009 census , 5,244 people lived in the village (2,476 men and 2,768 women) [5] .

As of January 1, 2016, the population of the village was 5348 people (2457 men and 2891 women) [6] .
