Abrogation (from the Latin. Abrogatio "cancel") - cancellation or change of outdated law (contract, agreement).

Abrogation Types
- Actually abrogation is the complete abolition of the old law;
- Derogation ( Latin derogatio ) - partial cancellation of the old law;
- Obrogatia ( lat. Obrogatio ) - making partial changes to the old law;
- Subrogation ( lat. Subrogatio ) - the addition of the old law.
Etymology
The term "abrogation" is borrowed from Roman law .
