Quindío ( Spanish: Quindío ) is one of the departments of Colombia . Located in the western part of the country, in the Andes. The administrative center is the city of Armenia .

Known as one of the main regions for growing coffee. It is part of the so-called Coffee Region or the Coffee Triangle. The Colombian coffee landscape in 2011 was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site .
