Karina Pavlovna Lisitsian (born October 28, 1938 , Yerevan , Armenian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Soviet, Russian and Armenian singer, music teacher. People's Artist of the Armenian SSR ( 1987 ), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 1997 ), professor .

Biography

Born in the Armenian family of Pavel Gerasimovich and Dagmara Alexandrovna (sister of the famous Soviet singer Zara Dolukhanova ) Lisitsianov. She graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory in piano , then the Gnesins Music and Pedagogical Institute in chamber singing. Since 1965, she was a soloist of the ancient music ensemble Madrigal , then for many years a performer of the chamber repertoire in a duet with her sister Ruzanna Lisitsian . Their vocal duet was widely recognized in the USSR , performed with tours in many countries of the world. He was distinguished by the constant replenishment of the repertoire, which by the beginning of the 1990s totaled more than five hundred works of various eras, genres and styles.

Since 1990, Karina Lisitsian has been teaching at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) , where she taught first a vocal ensemble class, and then an academic singing class. Together with Ruzanna and Ruben Lisitsianov she created a charitable foundation named after P. Lisitsian, in the framework of which she organizes numerous concerts, master classes, creative seminars.

Karina Lisitsian is the widow of the famous Russian statesman and public figure Alexander Vladislavlev (1936-2017).
