The Passau Treaty ( German: Passauer Vertrag ) is an agreement concluded at the Diet in Passau in June 1552 between Catholic and Protestant imperial ranks.

On the basis of this agreement, freedom of the Augsburg confession was recognized, the Augsburg interim was abolished, Johann-Friedrich of Saxony and Philip of Hesse were freed, and an amnesty was promised to everyone expelled during the Schmalkalden war . On August 15, the treaty was signed by Emperor Charles V. With minor changes, he was converted to the Augsburg religious world of 1555 .
